DAI’s five-day Local Content Master Class instructed participants how to execute local content regulatory responsibilities in accordance with the Ghanaian Local Content Policy L.I 2204—and industry best practices. Leading the training was DAI’s Sustainable Business Group (SBG) Local Content Expert and Managing Director of Local Content Solutions Ltd. Dr. Michael Warner, a leading authority on local content in the oil and gas, mining, and infrastructure sectors. He has trained more than 400 professionals in local content all over the world and has drafted numerous countries’ local content policies. He was assisted by ERG Analyst Alyssa Menz, who helped facilitate and led some of the training exercises.

The content of the course spans strategy, optimization, forecasting, tendering, reporting, and development.

SBG helps companies enter new markets quickly, expand existing operations, and reduce investment and operational risks by engaging productively with local vendors and communities.
