Ingrid is an Associate Director in DAI U.K.’s Economic Growth business unit, where she specializes in project delivery and technical expertise in sustainable development programs addressing environmental, economic, and social dimensions to create resilient and inclusive communities worldwide.
She holds a PhD in sustainable and ethical food value chains and has spent over a decade providing advice to the private and public sectors on the conservation and sustainable use of the land and oceans. She currently leads DAI projects covering climate resilience, economic development, community empowerment, ocean conservation, and biodiversity for a range of funders.
Ingrid maintains an active research agenda, and her impactful work in human rights, social sustainability, resilience, gender equity, and inclusion, particularly in food systems, has been widely published in top scientific journals. She has received several accolades, including recognition for her contributions to marine conservation, sustainability, wellbeing, and inclusion. She actively advises international organizations and participates in global forums, cementing her influence in shaping sustainable environmental and social practices worldwide. She has held pivotal roles at the European Parliament, OECD, WorldFish Center, and Unilever ICF. Her leadership extends to her roles as Founder and Director of the Fair Food Hub and Co-Chair of the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative.
