Rémy Kormos is an attorney with DAI’s Office of General Counsel, providing advice on business transactions, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. Rémy is also a member of DAI’s U.S. Government Development Innovations team and our Europe office’s Technical Services team, supporting business development and providing technical assistance on business enabling environment reform and private sector development projects across Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean. While in Morocco, he led the commercial law reform component of the Improving the Business Climate Program, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

Before joining DAI in 2009, Rémy was General Counsel of DPK Consulting, a USAID consulting firm specializing in judicial reform in developing countries. He served as Commercial Law Reform Liaison with the American Bar Association’s Europe and Eurasia Program in Sofia, Bulgaria, from 2002 to 2003. Between 1993 and 2001 he was a business lawyer at corporate law firms in New York, Paris, and San Francisco.
