Zanga Sadiq is an international development project manager with experience in strategic and commercial planning across themes including private sector development, employment promotion, entrepreneurship, and climate governance and adaption in Africa, the Middle East, and Central and South Asia.

An expert in project design and management, she works with stakeholders to identify and tailor innovative solutions that drive sustainable economic growth, building on market strategies informed by rigorous market analysis. She has managed multimillion-dollar projects funded by clients such as the U.K. Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), British International Investment, the Asian Development Bank, the European Union, and private sector entities.

Zanga joined DAI in 2018, where she worked on the FCDO’s PEPE project, a market systems development initiative in Ethiopia. Since then, she has served as Deputy Team Leader for the Enterprise and Innovation Program and Policy Innovation Facility in Central Asia. Both programs supported entrepreneurship among marginalized groups, where she developed strategies with local start-ups to drive sustainable growth. Zanga currently directs the SDC-funded Sustainable Inclusive Growth in Mountainous Armenia Programme and the UDAYA SME finance program in Nepal, as well as the Climate Ambition Support Alliance. She is also the Delivery Lead for the FCDO Macroeconomic Advisory Support Programme in Jordan.
